Fried shrimps with dried tea

  • Argentine red shrimp
  • Tea
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper


  • Remove the shrimp heads and the carapace, remove the shrimp line and wash the shrimp. Marinate the shrimps in extra virgin olive oil, salt and pepper.
  • Boil water. Brew the tea leaves inside.
  • Put the shrimps into the boiled tea for 30 minutes, then remove the shrimps and drain.
  • Pour extra virgin olive oil into a pot and fry the tea leaves until crisp, then remove them and fry the shrimps until golden.
  • Place the fried shrimps on the plate and sprinkle with the previously fried tea; season with salt and pepper.
