Macedonian style stuffed mushrooms

  • 500 g fresh mushrooms
  • 100 g finely chopped ham
  • 100 g finely chopped bacon
  • 100 g grated cheese
  • 50 g blue cheese
  • 1 tsp hot pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 30 ml extra virgin olive oil


  • Hollow out the mushrooms to make space for the filling. Instead of throwing the mushrooms centers away, finely chop them and put them in a pan with the ham and bacon.
  • Add salt and hot pepper.
  • Line a pan with baking paper and put the hollowed-out mushrooms in it. Fill the mushrooms with the mixture, adding a small piece of blue cheese and a little grated cheese.
  • Bake for 20-30 minutes.
